About the What’s My IP Address?

Your browser makes a normal HTTPS request to the toolbox. The server reports the source address attached to that request. When the site is behind a trusted reverse proxy, the administrator can explicitly enable trusted proxy-header handling so the original client address is shown instead of the proxy address.
