The browser contacts two dedicated HTTPS hostnames. The IPv4 test hostname must have only an A record, while the IPv6 test hostname must have only an AAAA record. Reaching the IPv6-only hostname proves that the browser, operating system, local network and internet provider currently have usable IPv6 connectivity.
